Important Recall Information for N08/N49/R16. Please Read

Q: What vehicles are covered under the buyback agreement?

A: FCA US and NHTSA have signed an agreement that includes the requirement to offer a buyback of certain eligible vehicles. The vehicles included are those listed in recalls N08, N49 and R16. Refer to the chart above for specific years and models included.

Q: If I had my recalled vehicle repaired, am I eligible for repurchase?

A: No, you are only eligible for repurchase if your vehicle still needs to be repaired.

Q:  Do I need to do anything if my recalled vehicle was already repaired?

A: No, If you have already had your vehicle repaired, no action is required at this time.

Q: My vehicle is on the recall list and it has not yet been repaired. Can I have it repaired instead of participating in the buyback program?

A: Yes, you have the option of having the recall repair performed OR having their vehicle repurchased. 

Q: I am not the original owner of my vehicle that is on the recall list. Is it still eligible for repair or buyback?

A: Yes, this offer will be extended to current owners, regardless of position of ownership (for example if you are the second owner, third owner, etc.). 

Q: My vehicle is on the recall list and will be going in for repair. Whiles it is in there can I add some modifications I have been wanting?

A: No, the offer does not include any allowance for modifications or upgrades made to the vehicle, i.e. tow bed, lift/winch kit, etc.).

Important Recall Information for N45/N46. Please Read

Q: What vehicles in this recall are covered under the trade assist or incentive agreement?

A: FCA US and NHTSA have signed an agreement which includes a trade assist and a recall completion incentive for certain eligible vehicles that are included in recalls N45 and N46. This includes the 1993-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee models and the 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty models.

Q: If I had my recalled vehicle repaired, am I eligible for the trade assist or recall completion incentive program?

A: No, this only includes vehicles that have not yet been repaired under these recalls.

Q:  Do I need to do anything if my recalled vehicle was already repaired?

A: No, If you have already had your vehicle repaired, no action is required at this time.

Q:  My vehicle is on the N45 or N46 recall list and has ot yet been repaired. What does the incentive include?

A: Customers who have not had their vehicles remedied will be offered a $100 gift card to have the N45 or N46 recall repair performed.

Q:  I would rather trade in my vehicle instead of having it repaired. What are the details of the trade assist?

A: Owners with the N45 recall may in lieu of having the recall repairs performed trade in the vehicle and receive a trade-in incentive of $1,000 over the fair-market value of the vehicle, the combined total of which will be credited toward the purchase of another FCA US vehicle or FCA US parts or service. 

Q: I am not the original owner of my vehicle that is on the N45 recall list. Is it still eligible for the trade assist program?

A: Yes, this offer is extended to current owners, regardless of position of ownership (including second owner, third owner, etc)
